How we make money
Short answer: right now, we don't. Here is exactly how that works and what will change if it does.
Today
CanRates does not currently earn any money from the banks, card issuers, lenders, insurers or transfer companies on this site. None of the "Apply" links pay us, and no one pays to be listed or ranked.
If that changes
We may later earn a referral fee when someone applies through a link. If we do, the product will be clearly labelled "Partner", this page will list how we are paid, and paid links will never change a product's ranking, its eligibility label or the default sort order.
